Lady Gaga introduces fans to new pet BATPIG

Lady Gaga has introduced her fans to her french bulldog, BATPIG.

The 'G.U.Y' hitmaker posted an image of the new addition to her family on Twitter on Sunday, April 27 which shows the adorable black pooch, who is sitting on her legs, staring into the camera while the pair of them are in a car.

She added the caption: ''Me and my BATPIG #partBAT #partPIG (sic)''

Following this she put an Instagram video up where she gave her cute pet a name.

She explained: ''Her name is Asia. She is a BATPIG. I love her I'm her mum.''

This comes after the 'Alejandro' singer lost her childhood dog, Alice, who was battling cancer, in October last year.

She previously wrote online: ''My puppy Alice died. We had to put her down, cancer ate away at a little angel. My daddy is so sad, we all are, lost a member of our family.

''I just pray Alice found her wonderland.''

Following the tragic incident Gaga wore all black during her time in London in tribute to the late pooch and explained how difficult she was finding being away from home during the difficult period.

She added: ''I love being an entertainer but it is so painful sometimes to be away from home, 17 years she held on, so many memories.''

See Stars With Lady Gaga's Favourite Sunglasses

So it’s getting sunny and you’ve just sat on last summer’s sunnies. Fear not, shiny spectacle hunters, we’ve taken a leaf out of Lady Gaga’s book and thrown our lot in with these crazy kaleidoscope sunglasses by H0les that use chandelier glass for lenses and super cool designs for frames to create these zany designs that have got Germanotta herself bulk buying.

Designed by Pam Tietze who aims to “evoke the feeling of being a tourist in your own reality”, the glasses throw up crazy multi image views of what’s in front of you. Tietze started making them for friends after going into a shop and becoming entranced by the glass crystals that make up chandeliers.  Gaga commissioned her to make a whole bunch for her accessories wardrobe, before creating them for public consumption.

Embrace your colourful side with these visually entrancing goggles, perfect for festivals, hazy summer days and if you’re up for a laugh, going to work on the bus.
