Pop titan Katy Perry, newcomer Lorde, enduring pop stalwart Pink and Janelle Monae all stand between Lady Gaga and her applause/award.

Just when we thought Lady Gaga had reached her peak, she made a name for herself all over again in 2013 with two massive singles but will they help her at this year's Brits?

Applause reached number 5 in the UK, and her massive single Do What U Want reminded us exactly why we love her.

Having performed it on X Factor, she also teamed up with Christina Aguilera for a duet version, and it just seems to get more popular by the day.

The Applause hitmaker won a whopping three Brits in 2010, including the category she's up for this time round, so with that behind her there's no reason why she shouldn't do it all over again.

The ceremony will take place on February 19 at The O2 Arena in London, and it will be shown live on ITV1 at 8pm.
